By using MUUKA you agree to the following. App Store purchases are additionally governed by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
MUUKA is published by Visioina Oy (Business ID 3352691-4), Espoo, Finland. These terms are governed by Finnish law, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
The app
- MUUKA is a focus aid, not a medical device or a treatment for any condition. You are responsible for how you use your device and your time; MUUKA makes no guarantees about productivity outcomes.
- You need to be old enough to agree to these terms. If you are not, a parent or guardian has to agree for you, and has to approve anything you buy.
- Deep Space is built on Apple’s Screen Time and Family Controls. That framework is Apple’s, not ours: an iOS update can change how it behaves, change what a selection of apps actually covers, or withdraw it altogether. If that changes what Deep Space blocks, it is not something MUUKA can override from the inside — we can only update the app to keep up, where Apple leaves a way to.
- The app is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Subscriptions & purchases
- MUUKA Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple Account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase; the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and the renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
- Cosmetic purchases (skins, saucers and rides) are one-time purchases tied to your Apple Account. Use “Restore purchases” in the app to recover them on a new device.
- MUUKA Pro also lends cosmetic items — currently the Cosmic alien skin, the Tea Saucer and the Cosmic saucer. They are part of the subscription rather than separate purchases, so they are no longer available once it ends. Items bought outright remain yours.
- Focus tags are your own data, not an item on loan. If MUUKA Pro ends, the app stops asking for a tag before a mission, but the tags themselves and every mission you have tagged stay exactly where they are — on your device, and in your iCloud if sync is on.
- A pouch of stardust is consumable: it is spent inside the app, so no size of it can be restored on another device the way a skin or a ride can. The stardust balance itself travels with your galaxy when iCloud sync is on.
- All payments and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We cannot issue, refuse, or reverse a charge — refund requests go to Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within 14 days is unaffected by these terms. That right is administered by Apple as the seller.
- Parts of MUUKA Pro rest on Apple technology we do not control: choosing which apps Deep Space blocks, Autopilot Missions that start on a timetable, and the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island timer. If Apple changes or withdraws one of those, that part of Pro changes or stops with it. We would say so on this page rather than let it go quiet. Billing is Apple’s, so anything you want to do about it goes to them.
- Stardust (the in-app currency) has no monetary value. You earn it by focusing or buy it in the packs above, and either way it cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash, inside the app or outside it.
Our work
- The app, its artwork and Muuka himself are the copyright of Visioina Oy. Every drawing in the app is our own.
- Buying MUUKA Pro or an item gives you a personal licence to use the app on the terms of Apple’s standard EULA. It transfers no ownership of anything.
- Don’t copy, extract, redistribute or resell the artwork, or reuse the name for another app. Screenshots, and the pictures MUUKA makes for you to share, are yours to post wherever you like.
Changes to the app and to these terms
- We may add, change or remove features, and we may one day stop publishing MUUKA. If that happens we will say so here rather than letting it go quiet. A copy already installed keeps working for as long as your device and iOS allow it to, which is not something we can promise indefinitely.
- Keeping up with iOS may require app updates. We support recent iOS versions rather than every version Apple has ever released.
- We may revise these terms. The date at the top of this page changes when we do, and the current version always lives at this address. Continuing to use MUUKA after a change means you accept it — but a change never applies backwards to a purchase you have already made.
