Why it works

Put the phone down and something grows.

That is the whole trick. Every minute you spend away from the screen comes back as stardust, and stardust becomes things you can point at: a planet with volcanoes on it, a comet that has been burning for forty days, a galaxy you built one quiet afternoon at a time.

It is screen time control that never once tells you off. Deep Space mode shuts the door on the apps that pull you away — no guilt graphs, no shame stats, just a small alien who is genuinely happy you are somewhere else.

Locking your phone is always fine, in either mode. In Normal mode, switching to another app is not: 30 seconds to come back, or Muuka drops the stardust. That one rule is the whole design.

Muuka keeps collecting while you get on with the rest of it — the book, the walk, the conversation nobody paused to check a notification.

Private by design

MUUKA has no account system, no analytics, no ads and no servers of ours. Your galaxy lives on your iPhone and syncs through your own private iCloud, which we cannot read. The apps you choose to block in Deep Space are opaque tokens handled entirely by iOS — MUUKA never learns which apps you use.
